Dr. Alex Lee
Associate Dr. / Pediatric Dentist
Background and Credentials
Born to Korean parents and raised in Panama, Dr. Lee had a truly multicultural upbringing. Growing up, a typical day consisted of playing “fútbol” at school, reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer for homework, but eating “kimchi” at dinner. At the age of 18, Dr. Lee moved to Philadelphia where he studied Diplomatic History at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. Inspired by a dental mission trip he volunteered for during college, Dr. Lee ultimately decided to pursue a career in Dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles. Upon graduation, Dr. Lee continued his training at the Montefiore Medical Center in New York, obtaining his specialty certification in Pediatric Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Currently, Dr. Lee splits his time between teaching and caring for his patients. As an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California, he is constantly keeping up to date with the latest techniques, materials, and literature. As a clinician, he prides himself in practicing as conservatively as possible while putting the needs of my patients and families first.
When not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his dog, Nala, playing soccer, and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
